When I first started teaching I started out in the special education field, and you can bet I was placed across all types of settings. I think it was a little naiveté on my part and a little newbie hazing from administration, but hey, I'm here for it!
From high income to low income to overcrowded public schools, ACS managed households, to private apartments in the wealthiest neighborhoods in Manhattan. I have seen everything... EvErYtHiNg!
And I spent 10yrs there..
Honestly, after learning all I could from every new situation with every new student, getting a class of 25 pre-k students in a general ed. school was easy peasy.
I feel like I had a little secret. I had eyes on tools and strategies that no other teacher had unless they went through what I went through. I had an in, let me tell you why.
On my very very first day out of school, as a newbie therapist, I received my toughest case. He was a 4yr old, non-verbal, physically aggressive student on the autism spectrum who was just a head smaller than me, and who all other therapists had quit. You know that saying ignorance is bliss, it surely was for the first hour of that first therapy period.
I had no idea what I was doing, what I had gotten myself into and why this child was so dang tall! But I will never forget what my supervisor taught me on the spot that first day and it has stayed with me all these years, over a decade in education, and so has that student.

Meet the...Education Strategist!
Allison is an expert parent coach, learning specialist, and behavioral interventionist based in New York City. Over the years she has been continuously working to contribute to and impact the different arenas of the education sphere both for students and adults. It is her core belief that one must create a balance between what is taught at home with what is taught in school to truly reach long lasting and life changing success. She does this through a strong teaching style while understanding the importance of individualized instruction and maintaining it throughout. This has been an integral element in Allison's success in working with students, teachers, and parents.
Allison has worked in education for 13+ years and has held many positions including educational consultant, curriculum developer, and early intervention therapist. Her areas of expertise range far and wide including parent coaching, implementing professional development, and areas of special needs therapy for children with learning disabilities, sensory integration delays, behavioral and aggression challenges, children presenting on the autism spectrum, and more. She has worked in both the public and private sector in schools such as Montclare Children’s School, Manhattan Day School, The River School, Children’s Learning Center affiliated with Columbia University, and Bright Beginnings NYC.
Currently, She continues to work as an education director for a private early childhood institution in downtown Manhattan as well as a parent coach and therapist for private clientele. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in special education and early childhood education from NYU, and a master’s degree in educational literacy from Hunter College.

1. How do I know if this is a good fit for my child?
This formula, if done correctly and consistently, will help any parent and any child, who want to work on child behavior management, boundaries, and positive communication techniques. I have used this formula with families who’s children exhibited highly aggressive behaviors to a child who just does not listen to their mom. This formula has been repurposed in a manner, which now allows any parent, at any time, to access the same strategies within their home setting and put play into practice.

2. How long will this process take me?
The course is planned to be done with one video completed per week. However, as explained in the introduction of your e-learning, I strongly recommend reviewing videos more than once to make sure the strategy is understand and the implementation is done correctly. You are able to take the course at your own speed. Some parents may finish it within 2-3 months if one video training is done and practiced per week. Some parents may take up to 6 months if videos and trainings are revisited (highly recommended). However, even once you have completed the course, it is your responsibility to keep consistent with the strategies taught if you are looking for long lasting transformation.

The would be value of all course materials totals = $16,500. You are getting the entire course for just $1,099. The non-financial investment will be your time. You will only see the transformation you want with your child if you have put in enough time and work.
